Battle of the Books
Fourth and fifth graders work in teams to read 20 specific books from a variety of genres. Teams meet throughout the school year with their team manager to discuss what they have read. In April, teams "battle" to see which group knows the most information from the 20 titles, until we get down to the final award-winning team!
CSI (Cool Science Investigations)
CSI is for fourth and fifth graders. The goal of Cshool Science Investigations is to enhance the positive experiences elementary students have with science learning.
Junior Mastern Gardeners (JMG)
Third, fourth and fifth graders meet once a month to learn about growing plants and how to cultivate. The club is offered through Kansas State University.
Math Wings
Fourth and fifth grade students compete in groups to solve math problems. This club is throughout the district and has competitions.
Running Club
The goal of Running Club is to more physically and have fun! Fourth and fifth graders join together to exercise.
Special Choir
For fourth and fifth grade students, Special Choir is a time to learn to sing together as a group. Special performances are held in the fall and spring.
